The big man has arrived.

December 12th

We are prepared and waiting for when Colt wants to make his way into this world. Nicky is busy as ever with coaching basketball and I have been trying to get our marketing together at the practice to attract some new patients. I just cleaned off our camera and have a few pictures from nicky's baby shower and our dogs.

First Bow Kill

After more than 20 early mornings and late evenings sitting out in the woods I finally bagged my first deer. My far sided vision is so bad I thought I got a small doe. It turned out to be a pretty good sized buck with a tiny 4X4 (8point) rack. I shot him from about 20 yards away and saw him fall about 100 yards away. Hopefully I can complete my bow tag and get a doe to help fill the freezer.

NFL Stadium Tour: #1 Kansas City

Nicky and I decided that our goal was to visit every NFL stadium to catch a game. So we are starting out with the closer games and working our way to the coasts. We had a blast at KC from the 76 degree day to the great fans it was an awesome day. Too bad KC couldn't hold on to the lead and ended up losing in Ot 27-30 to the Bucs.

Halloween and Mom/Abby Visit

We had our first guest this past weekend for Halloween. It was a great visit with plenty of good eating and relaxation. Mom and Abby hooked us up with some great gifts for Colt.

The Weinis

Nicky and I picked up Weinis a few weeks ago while attending a Husker football party. Her cousin rescued the little guy and he was looking to find him a good home. We couldn't say know to him. After a week or so he go sick and we learned he had Parvo. So after a few days at the vet and a few hundred bucks he came home and we couldn't be happier.
